Name: Gutter GuideDescription:My solution solves the problem most roofers have while installing new shingles on an older house. The problem is that once the first row of shingles is installed, the air hose from the air nailer scuffs up the existing gutter. Also the hose can get wedged under the newly installed shingles and tear them. My design sits on top of the gutter and has two hard plastic casters that run down the top outside lip of the gutter and two casters that sit against the face of the gutter. These casters are designed so they will not mark up the gutter, and also so they can be easily removed for ease of replacing. It is also equipped with a rotating, metal eyelet that guides the hose over the gutter and newly installed shingles while allowing the hose to be pulled easily through it. The eyelet will have a metal bearing for smooth spinning and will be held on by a cotter pin also for ease of replacing.
