Name: Alphabet Blocks
CAD: Inventor

Description:

This redesign is a new take on an old toy. The old alphabet blocks were potentially harmful, and not nearly as educational. The needs of children today far surpass the needs of children of yesterday.

The redesigned alphabet block is much safer for the growing child. Two-to-six year olds tend to throw their toys around, causing potential harm for other children. Using a safer and softer plastic, the potential for harm is diminished. Another concern would be splinters lodged into the child's skin while playing, with plastic blocks, there are no splinters. These new alphabet block toys are much safer then the traditional wood alphabet blocks.

This new redesigned alphabet block would also be more educational then the traditional block. Usually with blocks, the only language is English, children growing up with the new blocks may become global marketers, dealing in many different languages since the new block increases exposure to different languages. Also, the child's creativity is increased by seeing the drawing symbolizing the letter, formulating the link and eventually spelling. These blocks may aide the child in their education in the future, and as a result, be an integral part of their life.
